ip number diffrent by 1 number? is it ok?

just to be sure, if your ip is different by even 1 number its ok?

i check my ip every time before, i log on to ebay.

today's ip closely matched an old ip, but the last number was different.

is this ok?

So true about that.

IPs get recycled all the time and are not the main problem. 2 accounts open at the same time on the same user account or the same IP - now that's a problem!!

i have 3 accounts open now, ip's are always changing on their own (thanks to some rewiring)
ebay knows i have 3 accounts, i had called them once for an increase of selling limits and they asked 'which account are you asking for?'

i dont think they mind multiple accounts as long as you dont screw around with them or cross over into each other, such as shill bidding.

Multiple accounts are allowed by eBay.
However, if they know you have a few accounts, then these accounts at 'linked'.
Meaning that if one account gets restricted or suspended, you can't use the other accounts as well.
Most of us here try to open multiple accounts that are NOT linked, so that if one goes down, we can still sell on the others.
And most of them make one or two more for each one that dies. :bounce:
