Please..Teach an old dog new tricks.
 

Hello,

First off thanks to all the helpful friends that I have made on here over the years. Also the Stealth book was the best investment I ever made!

So here's my setup, Currently I use a dial up modem to log into paypal, pay eBay, move money, etc. To list items, I use Auctiva through my broadband cable service. Dial up is becoming a major pain for me, and I honestly don't want to play around with routers, changing mac's, etc. Is there anything else I can get that can safely speed up my process.

I was just in Staples and I saw a USB Verizon modem. Is this safe, and can I use this in place of my slow phone modem.

My method right now, although slow, has worked 100% for me. But very, very slow, and I get bumped offline alot.

I'm looking for a faster way. Also, anything better than Auctiva?

Use a mobile broadband dongle.

Don't us Auctiva so can't comment on that but I do use Garage Sale on a Mac

The mobile broadband dongle, will that change my ip everytime? And can I use it on multiple accounts that are saved on my computer?

Yes, normally they do change each time.

You will need to keep a log of all IP addresses to avoid linking.
