Is it Safe Using VMware

I have a new IP and does anyone tell me, is it safe if I install a new OS using VMware, and login ebay with it...??

The information of OS in VMware and host OS are the same or different?

Thank you:)

I would like to know this myself. I'm going to try this myself and keep 1 VM per account and just change the IP address for each new account.

Yes I do this, its great for using more than 1 account at a time. A virtual machine is just like setting up a new windows accounts and logging in with them to avoid linking accounts. Bare in mind you will have the same IP unless you change it, I use a VM with a proxy so it changes my IP and I can have use multiple ebay accounts at once.

Why don't you search the forum for VMWare - there's all kinds of posts about it...

VM ware guest OS's are completely independent of each other, they do not share anything with the host or any other guest OS (unless you configure it to) If you had more then one ISP you could even be running more then one IP address at the same time given you had more then one NIC or wifi card installed on the host machine. Configuration can be frustrating if you are not familiar with it or do not understand the basic concept of it. There are many places not only on this forum but all over the internet to read up on VMware.

I've used VMware in the past. It works, but setting everything up is almost more trouble than it is worth.
