Tracking No. shows item held in China. Why?

The tracking info says the parcel has been sitting in Guangzhou International since the 20th April - can anyone advise what the reason will be? Thanks

It could be cuz they just had a holiday some weeks ago and the package is back logged. I had a similar thing with EMS. It sent 1.5 weeks in Hong Kong on back log from their last holiday some weeks ago.
