Third party server based tools

If having taken great care to seperate multiple ebay accounts at creation time, I then go on to manage those account listings through a third party tool that supports multiple accounts (like merchantrun.com), will ebay be able to make account linkage?

I'm guessing not, because all requests to eBay are API based coming from (in this case) merchantrun.com's servers, covering 100's if not 1000's of accounts from same IP.

Anyone know any better? Is this potentially a great way to manage multiple stealth accounts without the ever present danger of logging in from the wrong ip or browser and getting linked?

You need to define your business plan/

Decide the number of accounts.

Auctiva works fine for our purposes.:amen:

My business plan is defined, but has no bearing on the question I asked.

The question was one of avoiding ebay account cross linkage by using Auctiva type tools.

Auctiva itself is however not a suitable tool (for me) because it does not share/manage inventory, listings and stores across multiple ebay accounts, it's quite a primitive tool, with a data model clearly evolved from one auctiva account to one ebay account, as appossed to developed from the ground up to be multi ebay account.

Depends which one that you use,,,Many of those sites have agreements in Place with Ebay (Like Listing Factory) Where Ebay drives traffic to them in Exchange for User information and Im quite sure many other little arrangements,,,Auctiva we Know Does NOT

Also most of these sites have limitations,,,Can,t Leave Feedback, or Cannot anwser Messages,,Cannot share Inventory,,Cannot deal with Disputes,,ect, ect,so although useful you will still Need to log onto Ebay from time to time,,there are other Better more complete and secure methods,,,
