How safe is this....?
I know this is covered in the stealth guide, in theory, but as I'm about to do something with a lot of time and effort invested in it, there's something extra-reassuring about having the "ok" from the folks on here...
I had an account that was linked to an old account (from years ago) by name and item sold. No similar photos, no email, no other way except first and last name and particular item. When I called to raise my limit they manually reviewed it, and there must have been some automated flags that they manually noticed since they were "reviewing" my request to have my selling number lifted. Once they saw that, instead of upping (or even just denying my request) they closed up everything except my bidding abilities, just for suspicion. The guy was nice enough to tell me that.
I havent used E*by for a while, and now I see that in time my cable IP address has changed. Am I 100% safe to use the same computer, delete that old Windows ID, and start again with a new Windows ID and the same cable connection (which now shows a different IP address) if I would be using all stealth info and selling new items?
Does using the same computer with a new Windows ID and a new IP address COMPLETELY clear me, or are there device identifiers or other things that might still put me at risk using the same computer?
Thanks in advance for your time to review this...
