Does the AOL 9.0VR Trick work anymore? Changing IPs
 

I read in a previous post that using AOL 9.0VR with your broadband connection gets a new IP address everytime. I tried it out twice, and got the same IP address for each AOL login. The AOL IP is different than my normal broadband IP so that is a good thing, but the 2 AOL sessions had the same IP.

I've also read that most AOL users in the same area will get the same IP, so ebay won't suspend on that premise.

Is any of this true? THhanks in advance!

Nope it will give u only 2 ips and every one shares them and anything u list on ebay that might be against there rules they will banned u instaly

i use wifi to list items on ebay with the words No paypal in my listing which i can only do 9 listings then they need a verifd paypal linked so i let the 9 auctions end and then do 2nd chance offers to pull off more sales which works fine but when i do 2nd chance offers and i use aol to log in boom im banned in about 1-2 hours laster after doing a 2nd chance offer.

So because i used aol it flaged my account and they banned me cause they knew i was doing 2nd chance offers to make more sales and getting past there 9 item listing w/o adding a verfied Pp account and they didnt like me doing that so the monkeys banned me

Maybe its not using AOL that is flagging your accounts, but how you are selling/not accepting paypal. Can anyone else confirm the AOL 9.0 IP is no longer working to get around suspension?

they wont ban u for useing aol they just keep a closer eye on you and what u sale

HI: I use aol alot, and I havent noticed any changes yet...

ebayhatelove, do you use AOL dialup or free AOL using your own broadband? I have Cable, btw.

I use AOL strictly to access my old Paypal, I don't use AOL for ebay, but I get 2 different IP's and haven't had any problems...
