Creating new eBay & Paypal account on same pc with cable modem (IP range problem)
 

As the title says although I will create a new windows user account and new 'Hostname' for each eBay & paypal account that I create but my problem is this:

As I am using a cable modem I am unable to change the first 2 ranges in my IP address and I am thinking that if I were to go ahead and create several accounts then as soon as 1 account becomes suspended it will link to all of my other accounts due to the IP that they all will have been logging on have the same starting IP range and will surely be too close in range.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem as I have scoured this forum but I cannot find the info as I am sure that having the same IP range will bring attention. Please advise.

I've said this before, this doesn't matter. Just about everyone has the same first two digits when they reset their IP. The thing that matters is that the last numbers are Different. It can be ONE NUMBER off and it'll be Fine! And if your goal is changing the first to ranges, you'll need to get another ISP, because that's what you're stuck with using the same ISP.

Ah thank you so much for that. The main reason I was confused was that GreenBean said IP range was too close. Well now I know that my next step is sorting out bank accounts and vcc's. I tried to sign up for one with entropay but it will not accept my pre paid card info that I purchased last year from cashplus in the UK. Do you have to sign up with a REAL card to get an entropay vcc? I checked on simon.com but I cannot find where it says on their site that they will email it to me.

Hmm, if you were to use the same name and the same IP range, I said I felt that it was too
close and you might have problems.
