Switch internet connection from Comcast to Verizon

In order to avoid ebay and paypal recognizing me again based on IP address. I am plan to switch the internet service provider from Comcast to Verizon. I will get a new router and new telephone number. I will also use all new information to register ebay, paypal and Amazon. Does someone know if it works?

That sounds like a lot of trouble. There are easier ways to reset your IP address like resetting your router. No need to change your internet provider.

It seems that changing IP address only works for Ebay not for Amazon.

I read somewhere saying amazon also checks mac address.
