does ebay link through phone numbers you call in on?
 

Hi I have been successfully operating my first stealth account for 60 days now.. I had to call ebay about an issue and I used my cell phone, which was the number on my old suspended account. I was wondering if this will link the account, I have a new phone number listed on my account and as my verification number..
hopefully it wont cause any problems.. but was just wondering if you guys knew anything about this.. im stressed because my account is going really well, 100 percent positive feedback and ive a built a new great customer base already..

I am not sure if eBay are that diligent 100% of the time, but I do know they are very active these days trying to link accounts. Only time will tell in your case. With Stealth accounts people really do have to think about every decision they make before carrying it out. Sounds simple but takes some practice.

Yes they certainly do. That is why if you call Paypal from the phone that is registered to your account, it automatically skips verification steps and connects right to your account information.

The 1st rule of making a stealth account is to have nothing to link to old suspended info.

Re-use of the phone number is never recommended.

FYI, if an account gets looked at by what we call a manual review( ie a human), then every single piece of info gets checked.
Reuse of a phone number would be trouble.

Try not to forget, you need to be a new stealth you

In the UK, just dial 141 and you are safe... it hides your number.

If you are dialling the free number, this does not work
