Need advise on mobile internet.
Does anyone know if this is real Dynamic IP address?
How fast does it release to change IP address?

I had Att DSl for years and I could adjust the lease time down to 11 seconds and could have a new IP address in 15 seconds. Now they forced me to crappy U-Verse with a RG. I could spoof my MAC adddress with SMAC, but I think that will only give my a new ip address on the subnet.

Although Im not really sure, but logic dictates that ALL mobile broadband services must use Dynamic IP addresses,,,how could you assign a Static IP address to something that constantly Moves?

Yeah, I thought the same thing, but there is another thread here and it has a few other mobile internet companies compared and a few were listed as static. Also, I am wondering how quickly they release the IP address. If I log on and check one account, then log off, and then 30 seconds later log back in, will it release the old IP, or will it give me the same one if available. Like I said, I was able to adjust the modem "lease" time down to 11 seconds on my DSL account, so I would get a new one almost instantly when resetting.
I guess I will take one for the team and chance it. Walmart takes back mostly everything, so I guess I can return the modem and just eat the data card costs if it doesn't work out.

From what I read on the Net, Walmart Internet would give dynamic IP.

The beauty of Walmart is that...in the event of wrong info...cant you buy and return? :)

Is this the one in partnership with Tru-connect?

Re those posts about static IPs & cell phones, I wonder if the users came across sticky IPs as opposed to static?

I've gone over all my logs of cell phone IPS & no USA one is static
