Tethered iphone accessing ebay
 

My account has been suspended, want to use my girlfriends account but know they block accounts with the same IP address.

I can get on the net via my Iphone tethered but I have used my iphone to access my old account via the ebay App, will this link the two & what info can they know from using ebay on A mobile device?

You can put your iphone into airplane and mode off again, then you receive new IP address every time you do this. I do the same method with a Android smart phone.

I use this method myself and it works like a charm.

Having multiple ways to get different IPs is awesome.

Just make sure you're using the personal hotspot under general/cellular data/personal hotspot and not wifi, you can download an app called ip manager to track your ip's if needed.

One of the fastest ways is to change ips, check before you tether, takes at most 2-3 minutes

Suggestion stands of not using the eB app - the rest of your method is fine

But if a suspended eb or amaz0n account was already signed on an IPHONE, does it matter? is it just the IP that gets tracked on IPHONE, or the "MAC address" similar to desktops getting linked?

Depends on whether you're using the wifi or personal hotspot, if the later then the ip changes when you turn it off and back on and I don't believe personal hotspots have a network adaptor with a mac address, I could be mistaken though.

I never got repeated IPs when I was using it a lot.

Airplane mode and back on always got me a new IP number.

Is it a pain to list on eBay with my iphone? I use a desktop pc and have to keep changing the mac address then ip between accounts which keeps showing my local area ip anyway. My stealth account address is not even close to the ip that comes up after changing the mac address. I live in NJ and my stealth account is in Georgia.
