Accidentally used my restricted ebay user IP once for my stealth account
 

So This is probably a paranoid question,
but I am really worried.
I just accidentally used my restricted ebay user IP (static) to log on my stealth ebay account.
I didn't do a log in but it stays automatically logged in. (I just refreshed the page).
All cookies and others are clean.

Will I get linked to my restricted account this way?

i did something similar recently. so far, no issue.

People login to ebay from the same ip all the time eg. businesses, family homes etc. it's usually only a problem if you owe them money from my experience.

I think it depends on whether you were actually logged in or not. If you have your browser set up to enter your password automagically then kiss the acct goodbye.

This is why I always manually enter passwords and be sure to hit "logout" when done. It's just too easy to screw things up especially with my wife yapping away. :ballchain:

This is why i use a virtual machine.

Windows 7 on my pc, windows xp on my steath pc....

No deleting cookies or anything... Log on everyday browse over 200 products..generate a big hefty set of flash cookies and i am always logged in and i can unplug my ethernet and plug in my 3g dongle ready! :p
