Tracking with ubuntu distro

I have installed Linux mint on an old desktop that I want to use for selling.

- is tracking the same as on Windows? (Use separate user accounts for each ebay account)

- Probably going to use Firefox so browser won't be an issue

Thanks for the responses you all. I was just tired of paying $100 bills every time I need an operating system. No problems so far and sales are pretty good.
