Why avoid stock photos GB?
Certainly on a new account acting as a newbie stock photos are not good... But when I was selling on my old account I often used a stock photo for the gallery image and then a photo of the actual stock as a second image within the listing.
I only ever did this with brand new items of course which come in sealed boxes... Theres nothing worse than a stock image in the listing and then a bashed up box with missing bits turns up in the post
GTB good point with the photo information and cleaning the images... I remember using a program for my SLR camera which revealed theres quite a lot of information within an image that I would have never expected to be included! So yes, clean those pictures once they are off your camera!
