Help me please, NEW to thread... Multiple computers ebay stealth Clear portable
 

ok SO.... I am sorry for posting about something that I am sure is covered somewhere but I cannot find my answer!! I am new to the board and want to ask a question to some experts on here.

I have created stealth accounts before and more or less understand the things required to do so, However... I have a question. First off I have a new stealth account. I bought a clear portable usb modem to use this account. My question is if I swap from using the laptop I have been using (sony) and I start using a new Laptop with the SAME usb clear modem...

And I create a new user account on this new laptop, will I have a ny problems? Can ebay track the exact computer and would they have a problem with a member getting a new computer? I would still have the same IP address I believe but If the mac address of the new computer changes the usb modems ip then I would have a problem ( I would obviously check this before I signed onto ebay)....

Anyway if anyone knows the answer some help would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!!

First of all, more or less understand stealth is not best - understand it well before you get into creation. Anyhow, that aside...creating a new user account is good. When you start up the usb modem, go to ipburger.com...check the IP - turn off the modem, wait a bit and redo the IP check - is it new? you are good to go - dynamic IP.

The mac address of the computer would not change the IP. Do this step and report back.

Getting the forum stealth guide is still a good recommendation.

I agree with RSOT. Start with the eBay Stealth guide. If you have any questions after that most of the active members on here will gladly help you out.

If the IP is the same, you link the accounts.
You would need to run IP Burger - Track Your IP Address! before touching ANY account and log the details.

You can use the same USB Modem as long as it gives you a NEW ip every time you change between user accounts.

No, you won't have any problems.

Ebay tracks by IP and Cookies. If you have multiple Computers...make sure each Computer has the user accounts on each one and make sure to get "Browsing" History on each Computer so it doesn't look strange to Ebay.

Which ever usb modem you use, should have the capability of changing IP's easily and quickly, as long as you check your IP's and log those IP's to each account you should be fine.

I'm in CA and my last 4 login in 3G has been from IP's in CA, VA, TX, and CA according to IPburger

remember to switch to 3g before you log into ebay accounts or you will be linked, I'd bet.
