wanted some info on vpn's?
what is it? how does it work and do i have to buy one for each ebay and paypal & amazon account that I have?

I know nothing about it so I am trying to figure how I can use it.

when I stay at a hotel with wifi I can not access any of my accounts.

Also The phone system is digital almost 95% of the time so I can't dial up.

Any help would be great if anyone can point me in the right direction

Look into a VPS. VPN's are very easily detected unless the provider is small and unknown.

When looking for a VPS, you also want a smaller, unknown provider, but they are not as easily detected.

Stay away from VPS's on the first few pages of Google, they are mostly known to eBay/Amazon. Unless you know Linux, you want a WINDOWS VPS. And those cost more. Stay away from the $5 Linux wonders and the $15 Windows VPS providers as they are overused and more likely to be known to eBay/Amazon. They have other issues as well.

And, you will need to learn about VPS's and how they work. Just Google for it, there are a ton of tutorials out there.

1 VPS = 1 eBay + 1 PayPal + 1 Amazon account.

Of course, you can have as many VPS's as you want, but I would use different providers. You also have to be prepared to lose an account here and there. VPN's and VPS's are CONVENIENT and you avoid some costs and hassles by using them, but they are not ideal. I use them, but much prefer separate physical PC's when possible.

Or a Dongle would be easy to use.

Following up on MM78's options, you could look into dial-up too if ready for slow speeds

If you travel a lot and want to access accounts you really need a mobile wi fi device of some kind.

Dongle or mobile phone tethering would solve your issues pretty neatly.

OP states digital involved so dial-up no use.

Even you complained of slow speeds. Is that still happening?

First question from me is how often do you travel?

If it is a one off for a vaction, then you may also think of not having listings active for a certain time frame.

On the other hand, if you travel frequently, your sensible and workable plan would be to use dongle or tethering or mobile wifi.

As opposed to VPS/VPN, the above are mainstream. Their usage would rarely be flagged by amaxon/ebay AND paypal.
Of the platforms being used, your danger is paypal with computer access.
