I use several free AOL accounts over wireless modem high speed "Broadband (cable/DSL/ISP) in Mexico. I have just rechecked on this using several different IP finders. On the one AOL 9.1 account it does give my true IP. But on two AOL 9 VR accounts that I use for my eBay accounts, it gives varying, slightly different IPs in Santa Monica, CA. These are in separate XP user accounts.
Since I don't use the 9.1 for eBay, I had never checked it before. I'm now going to look into greater security on the 9 VR accounts. |
