Lightbulb eBay suspending due to linked with previously suspended users

I think eBay may have done it differently in the past, but I've recently discovered that if you have an older account and a newer account that end up getting linked and the newer account gets suspended, the older account won't be. In order to get the older account suspended, it has to be linked with an account older than it.

I don't know if eBay does it all the time, but this seems to be what they do now.

I have the feeling that this hierarchy is not that specific but quiet random. If 2 accounts are linked, if one is suspended, the other cannot be used at all...and might be suspended too, no matter if it has been created before or after the first one. Just a feeling I have.

Reason why they only take down the new account is cause you can use some other sellers info match everything 100% and even get a ip in his area then get banned then they would link you 2 him and ban him to but ebay knows this and wont banned the older account due to this issue.

I remeber back in 2003 when a m8 of mine figerd out the giftcard trick we was able to use other sellers info and get them banned for begin linked and heck we used some powersellers info and couldnt get banned for crap we listed everything u can think of and they would not banned us just give us warnings lol. Just shows powersellers gets away with alot of trated alot better then us peaons.

Actually I had 2 PowerSellers accounts and they went down like nothing. They had more than 1000 FBs...
I believe that when you start working at eBay, you go through a training and they teach you the rules BUT...within hours when you start working there and talking to your coworkers, you realize that eventually you as operator have the last word, and suspentions or warnings are at your discretion. So the rules are quiet random.

Hello:
I Personally have had many acts taken down.. New an older (5,6,7, even 10 year old accts).
I will tell you what I have found..
My OWN personal experience is this:
--The accts that are taken out--suspended, then REINSTATED, are the true Stealth accts for me.. They seem to be able to take the MOST abuse..
I have written before--that I even tried numerous times to get one of these accts taken out--with intentionally placing violations..
So-- U wanna try it.. get a new acct- get it violated -=-do it fro any reason BUT vero..
then get it reinstated--NOW try Vero items,, 2,3,4,5,6 the accts seems to stay up.. Why? I dont know>>
I think its the Trust factor, the Internal Rating, credit rating of the acct
