Stamps.com

Can I use one Stamps.com for all my shipping from each stealth account?

Can you be linked by tracking numbers? I believe with USPS on stamps the first 7-8 numbers are always the same

Nope. I've been using it for the past couple of years and all works great!

Re: Stamps.com

Could anyone tell me if it is ok to use the batch printing import function with multiple stealth accounts? I want to just click "import" so everything shows up and sends back the tracking numbers back to ebay without me manually entering everything. I have heard that stamps.com does not share your info with ebay, but not sure if that is correct. Anyone have any comments?

They are %100 save and do not share personal info with eBay , been using them since 2009 with no problem. Could,nt manage running multiple stealth orders without them. 5 star company.

Re: Stamps.com

Thanks for your input! Just to double check, you are automatically importing all of your orders and Stamps.com sends the tracking info back to eBay, correct? You are not manually entering them yourself using the copy/paste method?

Re: Stamps.com

I use the import function across multiple stealths and it has worked fine for quite some time now.

However, I am very, very careful of which account and ip's I am using... so that is a must.

Re: Stamps.com

And I do sometimes manually add in addresses, but that is when I have a sale on another platform (not eBay).

For eBay, importing works fine. Just ensure you are using correct ip and correct user account.

Can i use one stamps.com account on one ip, and link my other ebay and amazon accounts without being linked? If not is there a way to get shipping information to that stamps.com account with a usb.

So to make sure what you mean:
when signing onto Stamps.com to print the postage for EACH eBay stealth account, you must ensure you are using correct ip and correct user account that is associated with EACH stealth account?

In other words it is NOT like Auctiva where one gateway allows you to print postage from many different stealth accounts? (Since Auctiva won't show the ip to EB or Amaz0n, but you can still access the order details)

I would also like to know the answer to this question.

Re: Stamps.com

An0ny indicated that he using the correct user and IP - he is keeping all the info together for each eB account

Re: Stamps.com

Here's my method that has worked for last year+.

1. Create a single stamps.com account
2. Ensure you follow correct stealth method by signing into correct IP associated to your Windows/MAC user account.
3. For each user account, sign into your main stamps.com account.
4. In stamps.com app, go to Batch --> Manage Sources --> Add Source
5. Link your eBay account to this stamps.com user account.
6. You can now import orders from only that ebay account associated to user account.

Repeat process for different windows user accounts & ebay accounts.

NOTE:

A. Yes, I have lost a stealth account in the past, but it has never linked to other stealth accounts using this method.

B. Each Windows user account will have its own separate eBay account associated to it within Stamps.com app. So whenever you click on "Import Orders", it will only import from that eBay account.

C. The stamps.com interface uses an API which sends information back and forth to eBay (such as the feature to update the feedback automatically). Always ensure you are switching to the correct IP and user account prior to launching the stamps.com app.

D. I cannot prove/disprove if IP is shared between stamps.com and eBay...but since I know there is an API between the two companies used for communication to update tracking info and feedback, one must assume the IP can be shared. If you track your IP's to a tee, you will not be linked.

Good luck :thumb:

guys managing multiple stealths- take note!

Re: Stamps.com

Tracking numbers do NOT identify the sender. At least not to eBay. The USPS could probably look them up.

I have little experience with Stamps.com (I used them over a decade ago) but for multiple accounts I highly recommend ShipStation. It costs about $40 per month, but it automates EVERYTHING and has KILLER reporting features. It is one of those services that when you have it, you can't imagine life without it.

And they work with almost EVERY major platform except for Half.com

Re: Stamps.com

I use USPS website. you can click and print. I use a different USPS account with each stealth and checkout with Paypal.

of course you have to follow proper stealth technique and switch your IP address.

Re: Stamps.com

jeff how do you pay (Checkout) for each label using shipstation?

pr0wake 03-25-2015 09:08 PM

Re: Stamps.com

when shipstation does the token linking, does it auto import after or do you have to manually do it like stamps

You can pay by credit card or check. ShipStation runs on Endicia (the Endicia account IS included, so no extra cost there). But it takes your orders from everywhere, mass-prints the labels and packing slips (and a PICK LIST, if you like) and then uploads the tracking numbers to the appropriate venues, then leaves feedback automatically. It prints SCAN forms for the USPS and can report your daily sales, monthly sales, yearly sales, etc. What used to take up 4 hours a day of my time was cut to less than 1 hour. AND I get reporting that allows me to follow trends, etc. The reporting is often overlooked, but can be VERY VALUABLE to keep you in the driver's seat.
