Why do you have your location as Australia?

If you change it to China you will get more relevant advice.

If you Google the term Virtual Private Server there's plenty of explanation without someone going into detail on here.

You are correct VPS is better than VPN for IP.

Thanks for your reply, there is no ebay in china, if i can select Chna when i register can i still trading on australia ebay. cause i used to live in australia and sell thing on ebay.

If i use VPS, is that mean i will get australia IP address

You will have to make sure the company provides them for Australia.

You must take into account return address and the $1000 anti-money laundering rules of paypal australia.

Not simple if you have not done your homework.

VPS works better but dont choose a very commonly used service - search it up and read about VPS.

ebay.cn

MAGIC!

I think it'd be easier for you to sign up on eB China and opt into their world-wide selling program.

I don't understand the need to have a .au account. Why do you think this is necessary?

Wow, already off to a shaky start. You have a lot of work ahead of you if you had no idea EB does indeed have a Chinese site...

Rough to hear OP...register on eb.cn then make sales on eb.au if you want to - easier route to follow.

Make sure your listings are CLEAR about where products come from to avoid confusion
