Would Tor work for IP issues?

I sometimes use Tor as my client when I log in to certain sites, so that my IP address cannot be tracked. Basically it's a relay service.

If I try to log in to Facebook using Tor it will have me confirm it's me because it shows me in Germany not USA etc.

Would this work for IP issue with eBay when going stealth or not so much?

Tor opens in my Firefox browser.

We have discussed TOR and the consensus is the same, don't use it for stealth.
