checking gmail on phone

Is it Okay to check the gmail of my EBay account on my phone or can they track that? Just want to check if I sold anything while I'm out. I used to love the kaching sound with the app. Thanks

Make sure you dont use the eBay app if that is what you are referring to.

So long as images are disabled in gmail then you can check the emails all you like. Make sure not to click any links though

If you have an iPhone there's an app called ibismail, great for stealth emails.

Checking Email on any IP will not matter as long as you have images turned off.

images should be turned off by default but I think there is a setting in gmail to turn off images.

CAREFUL, gmail has turned on images by default on new accounts. Always make sure it is off

Another trick I do, is go in ebay settings and ask for ebay to send you email in Text formal only (not HTML). It is a good extra precaution.
