Hi all, just a quick question to see about what internet security you guys use whether its paid for or a free download. I'm currently using Norton for the simple reason my mum buys it for her laptop so as I install it for her I borrow the disk and use one of the licences. Now I know Norton is widely known as not being the best out there so am looking for a suitable alternative whether paid for or free depending on which is best. I've been looking at pcmatic what do you guys think.

Avast Antivirus works for me along with Malwarebytes for dealing with spyware

I use Avast and Avira for most of my stealth PC's. For my main PC, I use BitDefender. The feature I most like is called BitDefender SafePay. It is what I use to log into my bank accounts. It has a virtual keyboard, making most Trojans like keyloggers useless. It probably costs about the same as Norton. Anti-Virus software is not something you want to be cheap about on PC's where you are accessing financial sites.

They've been around since at least the 1990's. It is a free one. I don't know if eBay/Amazon can see what Anti-Virus software is running, but I always like to change as much as I can about my stealth accounts to lessen the chances of linking.

I believe that Avira has about 10% of the total market share for Anti-Virus software.

I use ESET Smart Security for all my PC's.
