Virgin Mobile Dongle Question

Hello,
I thought the general consensus is that the US Virgin Mobile dongle is a great option for getting a wide range of IPs, but I read somewhere on this forum its not such a great option because of recycled IPs and such.
Just wanted to get the current opinion maybe something changed.

Thanks, I read that post...but I also read somewhere else its not the best option anymore, I was just wondering if something has changed recently.

The thread that rsot quoted is only a month or two old. There is not 1 dongle that is "the best". Buy the U600 and try it out and see if it works well in your area. What do you have to lose? If it doesn't work well sell it on eBay.

I had Virgin as a provider and the IP range was awesome, downside: the speeds were sometimes slower than dial up (at my house).

Your first step should be to determine if you have reception in your area.

Waste of a purchase otherwise.

As far as I recall reports tend to favor Virgin

except for their poor customer service.
