WARNING ?? endroid ebay app asking for new permissions
 

hi guys,

im a new member as of today holla:)

i got a samsung s3 off my friend at the weekend and did a factory restore on it i looked through the updates of the apps before i accepted them in the new version of the ebay app from what was already installed it has 2 new permissions it is asking for

--precise gps location
--network communication

whilst this may be nothing sinister i just thought i would point it out as may be a way of linking accounts .I im no expert so will leave it up to you to make of it as you will

i suggest if you do use the play store and android you change the options to ask before installing updates just incase this does lead to linking and any other future updates may ask for more permissions

Yea around here we don't even mention those apps big stealth killers, they basically ask permission to evade every right to privacy we have, pretty soon they will ask permission to use ur camera and mic and besides tracking everything you do and where u are will be taking video of you at all times

Agreed w/ Dmshark25, the app is very bad for stealth. There are many posts on why to avoid this. MM78 has some good posts on why it should be avoided at all costs.

No use of Eb or pp apps - tons of posts about this - too much risk.

cheers for your responses is it safe to use the browser on your phone like safari or internet explorer on android to go through the back way and not use the app ? or is that just as bad is it best to just use a computer in one location and never log in mobile what so ever ?


as for the comment soon they will ask to use your camera and mic

THEY ALREADY DO lol i think its so you can take pics and upload it to there app ( at least that's what they want us to think) but your right privacy is impossible with half the apps we download

If you want to use a good Browser, I would suggest Atomic Web. Works great for Stealth.
