Tethering to new account, wonderign about ebay cookies.
 

I plan on using my smart phone to tether my laptop, for my new Ip. I used to use my smart phone eBAY app for my last account that got suspended. Will i have any problems with my new account getting linked to my old one by using the same phone that had been using the eBAY app? I have deleted my old account, and signed out of the app. Was wondering if ebay left cookies on your phone, or if i used the app would it get suspended. Thanks.

If I were you, I wouldnt only sign out of the app, but uninstall it, it may also be worth deleting all the cookies on your phone before signing in

I used the app on an old account that got suspended. I have un installed the app. Now i plan to use my phone to tether a new IP to my Laptop. Will i be safe to tether, or can they link me to my new account? (Im not going to use the app on the new account, just using the phone to tether to my laptop). If they can, what steps should i do to make my phone clear?

Im not going to use the app for my new account. I only want to use my phone to tether my laptop for a new IP. My suspended account used the app on my phone, i have uninstalled the app and deleted my suspended eBAY account. What precautions should i take before using my phone to tether?

If using just the phone to TETHER and not sign in...no sense in worrying about eB tracking your old activity IF everything removed and you are logged off

App is removed, and all i plan to do is use the phone to tether. Do i need to do anything else before i can tether? Like clear cookies, or anything like that?

App is removed - make sure eBay account is logged off - in fact, force closure of the browser on the phone - not much else to do - dont use the phone when in tether mode (most phones can't be anyhow).
