Switching between restrcited ebay account to new account on phone
 

Hi, i am new to this forum, i have had my stealth account for about 4 or 5 months.

today it got suspended "indefinitely"! I am creating a new stealth account right away and i wanted to ask you if it is safe to log out of the restricted stealth account from my phone and change the ip address of my wifi and then log into my new ebay address from the ebay app on my phone?

Also, when i am using 3g and log into the new stealth account will ebay be able to track me somehow and link me back to the old account? please advice, thank you

Avoid the APP.

You can log into via your phone, but not via the app. You can use your in-phone browser.

Could you share the reason you got banned. I have stealth for 6 months now and I would like to learn from your mistake?

Personally I do not have an issue with the app but I am very careful. I DO know for a fact that PP app links your account to your phone, and you have to manually remove your phone from your account :rip:

But yes, it is good advise to stay off entirely..

I got banned because i already had 2 warnings against my items ( i listed two ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ralph lauren hoodies and they got taken down each time). I then listed a high valued product (balenciaga arena shoes) after the 7 day suspension and they removed the listing and suspended me indefinitely

Thanks, i will make sure i dont use the ebay or paypal apps any longer and just log into ebay via the internet on my phone!

ALl you have to do is NOT use the ebay APPL.

It is still perfectly fine to use the iphone provided you have removed the app & set the phone up correctly.

Dont be swayed by posts that hint it is OK to use this type of appl even if you are careful.
