I think I already know the answer, but, can ebay track you if you dont log in?

For example, I use my phone to browse for things, I have never logged in via my phone to ebay.

I use my main user account to do the same, neither are used to login.

So will ebay be tracking me or be able to make any links if I was to then sign in under stealth and purchase the item i was looking at on my phone/main user account?

Is your phone using the same Wi-Fi connection that you use for your stealth account? Is your IP static or dynamic?

Ip is static on main account but I use a dongle for when on stealth.

I use the main user account just to browse for stuff to buy on my wifi.. Then if I see something I want, I log in to stealth account to buy it.

Can they track ip addresses if your not logged in?

Yes, cookies are stored regardless of you logging in.

IP will also be noted by ebay

Cookies are automatically deleted on my main user account.

Say i viewed a lego set on this account.

Could they then link me if i signed in on a stealth account and ordered it?

Nothing overlaps or is the same eXcept from viewing the item.

I hope this makes sense.
