Phone tethering?
 

My current eBay account is linked to my phone number and my phone app.

If I were to buy/make a new stealth account. Is it safe to use the eBay app with my new account or should I refrain from linking my stealth account to my phone (which has same phone number on the banned account)?

I've found this from doing a bit of research myself. It will get linked as soon as you log in due to the IP address. I'm not sure if the app gathers more information for eBay than the website but all the advice I've seen has been not to use the app

the app does gather information, best to avoid its use altogether. I won't even put it on my phone

The App Collects almost EVERYTHING from your phone! don't use apps, we have covered this around 100,000,000 times.

You should refrain from EVER using the app on a new stealth account.

Even with a factory reset, there is still a chance of linking.

Ebay Tracking in particular is what you need to read.

This app is dangerous for stealth.

We never suggest its usuage.

do not use any form of apps at all. Stay away 100%
