Going out of the country. Anyone used teamvier?

Guys,

I am leaving US for 2 weeks. I can leave my desktop computer on (just the PC) then I can use team viewer to access the computer at home which that has all cookies for eBay.

Is it safe to use team viewer? or eBay knows that I am using a remote control?

It is possible but do you plan on logging on to multiple accounts with Teamviewer?

I use teamviewer quite frequently. eBay have no way of knowing what software you're running on your computer easily.

Two weeks is too long in the world of eBay, anything can happen. Might be better to close and leave an out of office auto-reply.

I use teamviewer on a daily basis - even when Im home. I use 4 different laptops at all times and being able to control all of them from the same screen is very convenient.
And no ebay/PP have no way of knowing that youre using a software to remote control your computer.

Teamviewer is excellent, the only thing I realized is the fact that it can crash without warning. I have a backup plan for rebooting computer and then go back teamviewing.

If you have somebody physical on site, you should do just fine with teamviewer.

Agreed.

Such an approach is more prudent to ensure accounts are protected.

Decision to use it needs to be carefully considered, imo.

This is why I always have two source to access my computer just to be safe. Teamviewer can be the primary way, a backup way could be something like VNC or the built in Remote Desktop tool in Windows.

Teamviewer and other similar remote desktop software works great, if you can handle the sluggish connection inbetween..

Only problem is that I have a switch where I reset my IP manually on my modem, can't do that from logging in. If your modem or router allows remote access and resets from admin console, then that would be a total solution.

Good luck yo! :peace:
