With AT&T DSL it's easy to change IP number
Unplug the phone line from the back of the Motorola 2210 modem and after a few seconds the GREEN DSL light will change to RED and then plug the phone line back in and all the lights will go back to GREEN and your all set with a new number. Keep the 'IP Burger' web page up and then hit 'reload' and you will see the new number. I find this handy when I have to log into my old PayPal account that is in good standing and then when I'm done and log off my old PP account I do the same 'Unplug the phone Line' before going back to my current accounts. I'm worried that if I don't change my IP after logging to my old PP they will link that same IP number to my current accounts.:cool: |
