IP question regarding multi devices and linking
 

OK, I think I screwed up right from the get go here.
I logged onto eBay from my tablet (to my buyer account) and then walked away from my tablet and forgot to log out.
Just hopped onto my laptop and started a new user account, changed my WiFi IP address and logged into stealth account to update vcc info. I logged off, cleared cookies, changed IP and turned laptop off.

Because both devices are using same WiFi and I was still logged in on my tablet, did I just link these two accounts??????

Grrrr....I hope not.

What did you use to log into your account from the tablet?
If you used the tablet browser and left it inactive, it probably was dormant... in a stand-by state. If you was on the Ebay app, I guess is worst.

Anyway, you could be lucky and this is a minor link... you might be safe but only time will tell.
Try to absolutely avoid it in the future.

1 time might be fine - link is possible but likely very low - really strive to avoid this IP link moving on.
