Facebook ads are tacking me wtf?
 

So I was browsing of the book of face and noticed an ebay advert specifically advertising the wrestling boots I bought last week on my buyer account.

I have done everything needed with the flash settings but what gives? It gave me the fear of god this morning when I saw it.

so I would need to download a blocker? Would that interfere with ebay (would they not like it?)

This is the latest advertising "innovation" on the web. Some marketing genius figured out that if they keep showing you things that you looked at previously, or are similar to things that you looked up previously, there is more of a chance of a sale.

So that laser printer you glanced at once, just because it looked like a good price but you decided you didn't need, will follow you around until they day you die.

Facebook on a PC or mobile devise? I am guessing if your PC that you log into facebook from all your user accounts.

That is one of those things that sounds THEORETICALLY POSSIBLE, but can you imagine the volume of information that would have to be processed? I'm not an IT expert by any stretch of the imagination, but we would be talking about trillions of records having to be matched against trillions of records and that is just for starters. Then again, computing power gets cheaper every day.
