VPN/IP Address

Good Afternoon,

I am setting up ebay stealth. I am using a VPN which give me an IP address in Texas. I am currently located in FL. Do i need to use an address in Florida?

Thank you,

Re: VPN/IP Address

Couple Questions:
1. Is a VPN your only method or are you opened to other, probably cheaper methods?
2. It's usually recommended to have an IP near the Stealth Address but it's not written in stone.....usually you can run an account in another City,State without issues as long as you do it slowly.
3. Do you plan to run more than 1 account?

Re: VPN/IP Address

i currently have a VPN for my Amazon account, Just using the same VPN.

Okay, I just wanted to confirm. With Amazon I was informed IP location is of no concern.

I plan on only run account at the moment. Slow and steady.

If you only plan to run 1 account then your VPN should be fine, which Provider are you using?

Yeah location doesn't matter, for example I use NY ips sometimes to make CA accounts, never had a problem.

I was planning to get vmware, but wondered about the IP address not matching physical addresses. I'll answer your ?s a different way to see that your recommendation would be.
1. I'm open to other methods.
3. Yes, I plan to set up and/or purchase multiple accts.

I am also setting up installs of portable FF, per your guidance in other threads.
Thanks for the advice and insight!

123 is correct -@OP, I hope you aren't using a free/overly-used VPN service

Will *67 hide my cell phone number when contacting customer service?

It should but probably better off not doing that might raise suspicion. I've contacted them with numbers not even related to the account never had a problem.

Isn't best to stay away from them by all means necessary! I like the vpn service I use it cost $10.00/month there's a free version but it's worth the $$$. Browsing through the forum and seeing all the negative stuff about Jan 1st has be thinking should I just unload my inventory at cost ? Use other outlets and get my money out. I remember getting the boot on new years day a few years ago fought with them for awhile and they just took suspended my **** completely this game has become a lot harder the past few years haven't given up yet but I'm close too it after getting some bad feedback yesterday
