New windows user name / Visiting old web sites
 

So if I start a new windows user account and log in to sites like facebook, online banking, email, Amazon, ext, Can cookies link that you logged in to all of those other web sites in the past with a previous EB account and IP?.... Or do Cookies only track EB/PP log ins?... Can they track me by logging in to other sites not related to EB/PP?

On a new user account the cookies and flash cookies will all be separate from everything you've done before on another windows user account - meaning no link.

What if you use Private Browsing all the time?

That will take care of the regular cookies but not I don't believe it impacts the flash cookies.

So I can log in to my Facebook under my new windows user account i'm using for EB? The thing that scares me is that sometimes when I look something up on Ebay (Lets say a TV) then later on that same exact TV will pop up on my Facebook saying "Are you still interested in this item"

Then don't use facebook on your ebay user accounts if you are worried. I am not sure if there is another company that creeps on you as much as facebook does.

Why would you not have flash?
As far as Im concerned I want to look as legit as possible and that includes having flash installed and getting al the flash cookies for the ebay/pp account on the specific windows user account theyre being used on. Makes it look a lot more believable.
