using old Blackberry for stealth (have done a security wipe)
 

So I've got an old blackberry that ive put a new sim in for current stealth acc

Havnt used the phone, sim isn't activated but it will take 'incoming calls'

I have used this phone with ebay app couple of years ago on an old banned account

I plan to use the phone solely for one current stealth acc (obv WIFI will be permanently Off) to save switching users on PC

I've done a 'security wipe' today, everything wiped to default, like the phone came out of the box again, the ebay app that was installed was wiped

Anyone know if this is good enough to use fully for stealth now if I activate the new sim to give full internet access etc

Will the 'security wipe' defo have got rid of any ebay beacons or other crap they may have planted in it previously?

And is it best not to install the ebay app again and just use mobile website?

This will not work. When you install a APP on a phone, it links up to the permanent phone info including hardware ID's that CANNOT be changed thru usual methods. Removing the apps doesn't get rid of this link. If you want to use a phone on eBay with the APP (not recommended by any member on this forum), get a new android tracfone for $40 bucks and have at it.

Sorry, OP, this does not work.

Nothing you have done cleans up the phone for stealth with a new account.

Thx for the sound advice guys...

So only option is to get a brand new phone (used ones bought off ebay no good either cause they prob already been used in the past for ebay)
