Ebay Wants To Talk To Me

I set up my first ghost account.

Got it all set up and Ebay sent me a message saying account restricted until I can call them.

Any thoughts on what they want to verify??

I am using a VPN service. Could this be their issue?

Im sorry i put up one listing. They emailed saying they have temporarily restricted my account until I contact them. Failure to contact them within 48 hours may result in closure of my account. They included a link and the link took me to the call ebay page.

NEW everything...

I have read a lot about IP addresses. I use a VPN called Surfeasy. Could that have triggered it?

A soft limitation. Can happen when.you list your first item.
Do as they request and have all your info to hand when yu call them :-)

VPNs can be blacklisted.

If you are truly based in Canada, other options exist. Did you ever consider that?

What item did you list and was your paypal verified and confirmed?

Yup, just have all your info in hand, talk with a smile and say please and thank you.

They'll just ask what you plan to sell on the account and where you got the items, blah blah blah. I just say I sell odds and ends items I have around that I no longer have use for.

They will ask you to verify all your info and then they'll reinstate the account.

Make sure you call them or that will shut the account down.
