Starting new personal account
 

I have a pretty simple question. I had an Ebay account that I never used to sell anything but got linked to a friend of mine's account because he used the same IP to sell on. My account got limited as well as his so I filed to have my account closed. This was about 1 and a half years ago(I believe they shut the account down but I do not recall whether or not they actually did close the account...I just remember requesting for them to close it and giving them the reason why.) Anyways now I want to open another personal account in my name. Question: Can I still do this without them linking it to that old account as long as the bank/cc card is different and no other info matches the old account? I'm thinking you should be able to use at least the same name considering how many people share the exact same name in this world(ex: Joe Thomas).I'm just looking for reassurement that I'm right. Help Pleeease???:confused:

Also I do not recall if I gave them my SS # for the old Paypal account....(I don't think I did) but just in case i did, there ARE 2 other ways I can ID Verify this time around right?
