Can RM Tracking number link accounts?
 

Right...

If I run multiple stealths and provide tracking for all of them, could eBay link the accounts using the tracking number?
I have a business account with my local Post Office. If I do Royal Mail tracking then the tracking number shows what Post Office was used.
Could they manually, or not, link all of my accounts because I send them all from same Post Office?

My brain says that if they would manually check every tracking number, then it wouldn't take a lot to figure it out. Bots on the other hand... I don't know.

And they live in the same country, yeah. No, they won't link you that way.

In theory its possible if your using consecutive tracking numbers.

In reality its very unlikely unless someone is already looking to link the accounts.

If I was you I would get a roll from the PO of tracking labels and use 1 roll per EB accounts. Prevents this possibility happening.

Even when I send like 10 items in a row, not leaving the operator's desk, I get tracking numbers quite far one from another. And this is in our small country. Guess, in UK, the distance between numbers is even bigger.

Nope.

Numbers are 1 are the other.

Never a good idea to guess what other countries do unless your certain your right :)

Don't see anything bad in such numbering. One person sent packs from a PO, whats wrong? If there are several stealths sending stuff same day, they can do it making an 1 hour pause, or using different POs.

Always felt that royal mail tracking can be a weak part to a stealths life. Remember during the delivery process the tracking number when input also shows which post office the goods have been sent from. So if you have stealths in Bristol, London, Leeds, Liverpool and the items are all being sent from a little sub post office in a scottish village you may have problems. If you have previous stealths closed down which sent items tracked from such a location then their is obviously more danger involved.

If you send from a major city centre post office then you obviously reduce the chances of being linked, but I don't believe there is a 'perfect' answer.

Muzzies solution of visiting the post office in hour intervals in the hope there may have been sufficient tracked parcels sent in between to not have a similar number is obviously daft, unlikely to make any difference and highly unpractical to anyone who has a life.

I worried more about the "little village in Scotland" theory and not su much about the tracking numbers themselves. It might look a bit odd if 10-30 different accounts send all the stuff from same "little village post office in Scotland" as the tracking number shows the original PO that the parcel was taken to.

I don't send THAT many tracked parcels anyway, but I was just wondering. I guess I'll just risk and see what happens.

I feel so lucky that I decided for myself that all my stealths live in the same city, as there is no life in other cities of my country :D

Just go to the PO and as for reels of postage tracking stickers

Then assign a reel to each stealth

That's VERY true and for Baltic countries it is perfectly normal. I think all Baltic states(Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia) have TINY populations and have something like 50% of all population living in capital, right?

I will base all my stealths around the city that I live in, I'd never go opposite side of the country just for the lulz. Maybe have all stealths around 100m radius from the city.

....but it doesn't help the 'little village in scotland' scenario as even though the tracking numbers may be different the post office will still show as the same.

You are right about a Baltic states.
I do ship from Baltic states for accounts based in US or UK
have uploaded so many trackings, so far had no a problem because of it to be honest, even i ship every day and run quite a few stealths
