Hide your ip address with hie-my-1p-com

Hi Everyone.

Yes like everyone i have ended on this forum after hours of research.
My story that i am limited on ebay for DSL. This was due to a death in the family and i couldn;t complete some transaction, i refuded the buyers back out of honestly has i would not have been in the city for couple of weeks.
To cut it short. i have just 3 and 2 neutral feedback.
First ebay gave me a warning to improve my status, so i put more items on ebay to sell. I was told ebay would check my account after 30 days and if my account got worse they would restrict my selling until i sorted the problem out. But ebay are liers, not even have gone pass they restricted my account for selling, emailed them and told them they are not holding on to thier word, but has usual these so called customers service which are the biggest losers in the world give such crap.

What i did discover. If you go to Hide-My-IP.Com - Hide Your IP Address, Surf Anonymously, Protect Your Identify, Guard Against Hackers
They give you a new ip address by hiding your current one.

I can even choose the locations.
I am told on this website that it would help with ebay, i have the cookies proggamme too.

Has anyone tried it. Also by hiding your ip address and getting a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one. Is this a good idea.

Please comment

Most of these proxy sites do not do a good enough job and some even pass on your real IP Address to eBay. It's better to change your DSL IP Address, use dialup or find another ISP that gives you the ability to change your IP. Good luck!

Spend a couple days researching this forum and you will find your definitive answers.

NO...those hide your IP programs have proven not not work for our purposes, so don't even risk it. Just change your current IP address. There are many threads here on how to do it.

The one and only that worked for me, was to unplug my modem overnight and be sure and check it with IP Burger - What is my IP Address? Find Your IP Address! before and after to make sure it has changed.

In the future, if you know you can't ship what you have listed on Ebay...just end the listing early and say there was an error in the listing.

If you decide to use it anyway...."against our advise", let us know how it worked out for you. Or better yet...how it didn't.

No, I'm telling you it won't work. You can try it but your account will be shut down in a flash. If you haven't already, I recommend you read eBay Stealth. It'll show you how to successfully setup a new eBay Account step by step and show you how to keep it.

Good luck,

Tested Bt Home Hub

Just checked this solution to the ip address issue. Go to address bar at top of browser and type in cmyip.com, this will tell you your ip address. Then take a note of this and then unplug the hub wait for 1 min then plug back in. When i say unplug just pull the lead from the back of the hub. Once it is back Go back to browser top and type cmyip.com again and i bet it has changed. My idea is take a not of the ip address when setting up the accounts that way have a seperate number for each one and just take a not of the ip address of each and when you go to log on to your desired account just change to the appripriate ip address by One of the several ways described on this site. I think this should be good enough. Also a very easy way of making sure ebay will not link the ip address of suspended accounts. Let me know what you think.

1) Delete all cookies and flash objects
2) Install flashblock on a non-MSIE browser
3) Sign up for a new ISP
4) ???
5) Profit
