Hi

I use the program Batch Purifier to wipe all exif data on my images that I upload to eBay, but is it true that once you upload the image to ebay that eBay automatically put a tag or tracker on that image, so say you were to transfer that listing with the image included to another account then eBay would be able to see that image came from the other ebay account due to the tag/link ?

Yes, they can link your picture without a doubt even if you remove the EXIF data from the pictures Just in the fact of the actual picture itself! Also other competing sellers will also turn you into eBay because they will notice that is coming from the same seller pretended to be two separate people you also have to watch out for them as well not just eBay!

Your competition/competitors is something to always look out for as well. Just note friendly or not they do not want you on eBay! You not being on there makes them more money :d

Your going to need to use a new picture per eBay account.

Reusing the same pictures, EXIF data or not, is an easy way to potentially get linked.

Don't transfer listing between multiple accounts. Keep each account as unique as possible. Ideally creating each account for separate products. Avoid listing the same products through multiple accounts if you can
