VPN DNS leak plug it with Public DNS server?
I am using a VPN with an IP located in another country.
If test my connection for DNS leaks my ISP is leaking through. (dnsleaktest.com)
So you can easily see I am located in another country.
To plug this leak, would it be wise to use a Public DNS server, that's also located in the country where my VPN IP is located in?
By this method the Public DNS server would leak through, showing the same country IP as the VPN I am using.
Does anyone has experience in using this method? Would this raise any flags?
I also tried changing the DNS manually with some imaginary numbers like 1.2.3.4 1.1.1.2
But my internet connection drops if I use these imaginary numbers.
Even If I shut down comodo, i still do not have an internet connection.
Thanks
