Using mobile internet on Windows PC

I have possibility to buy USB mobile modem with internet SIM card. Can I connect USB to my desktop PC which has Windows 7 installed and connect to the internet that way?

You should be fine. i use a Three UK mobile dongle and everytime i login it give me a new IP.
