Sending home address in eBay message body a way to get linked?

using eBay's in house messaging system, can I send my REAL home address without the fear of getting linked? I purchased an item and don't want to put in my real address on eBay obviously its the stealth address that's on there.

the buyer seems to not care and is willing to help me out but if i add the address to the eBay message body can eBay link me if I send my real address? or even suspect me...?

eBay COULD link you, but I think the odds are slim. If the account were manually reviewed, then the odds would go up. As long as the information is in a message body, I don't see any bots picking up on it. The greatest danger is, again, in a manual review. So, if you absolutely have to, then go for it, but I wouldn't make a habit of it.

You could ask the seller for their email or phone # and give them your information that way (outside of eBay eyes).

I have been doing this in 2 of my accounts over 6 months and had no problems.

But you never know and thats why I am only doing it on 2 accounts.

There should be a Google to analyze PMs in order to find similar addresses. So not really.

If you are concerned and do buy of ebay then open a separate buying account with real details and all is good. Dont make it into a sellers account or you will get closed.

I've been doing this for returns on my stealth, and it works perfectly, the buyer sends it back to my real address.

I do that on a regular basis. An all my stealth have the same return address printed on the box. No issues.
