CABLE MODEM And router
 

OK so first off. i moved and i used to have DSL and it worked great but cant get that here were i live. i also cant get dial up because it does not work with the new digital voice that's what they told me version said this??. ok so here is the deal. will this work and will it be safe. the only way i can get a new ip address is to bridge the cable modem to the router. i have 4 ebay acc. what i was thinking of doing is just to buy 3 more of these will this work. what i really want to know if my modem lets say my ip on my modem is 123. then i bridge my router to the cable modem and that ip is 476. will eBay be able to see the modem ip and not the router's ip???? i am great at making the paypal and ebay acc. never had this problem be for DSL worked great turn it off and it gives you a new ip. ok here is my gear i am using. also i am totally new to this . i try ed to change the mac address and no luck. if any one has a very easy guide that would help i have try ed Vicvelcro way ad it does not work. maybe i am doing something wrong ??

i have Comcast cable with dynamic ip
my router is linksys n300 WiFi router./e1200
please i need help :help:

PS for the Comcast internet this is a dynamic IP i log the ISP and they do change i can not fore it to change at all. the only way i can get a new IP is what i have said. any info will help thanks guys:laugh:

I also have Comcast and it is a very good ISP, I been doing this now for about 4 years and Comcast has an endless IP pool, and once you learn how to change the IP it will take seconds.


What is the Name of the Modem you have?

if you are able to guide me on how do grant this a new ip that would be great thanks. need to get back on ebay.

this is not working for me all ready try ed this. just going to buy 1 router for each ebay acc and do that.
