paypal ask for id and social
 

Hi guyz
Paypal start asking me of id and ssn.
Since its a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name on paypal account what i shoud do now ?
I have ein number but i dont think that this will work.
Any suggestion?

Are you selling high volumes/high monthly sales? They usually start asking for SSN if you are going to meet their $10k yearly mark for tax purposes. I usually just keep selling on the account until they finally shut it down and move on to another account.

Once they ask for ID/SSN....the account is toast.

nope i sold like $350 items in 1 month and half.
I dont know why they ask that

Not really, I've gotten an account restored before where they were asking for SSN and ID.
And several other accounts that they were just asking for ID restored. By calling in, it's not easy though every time you do it will get easier the next.

I was able to sell on my account for 6 more weeks until the paypal eventually would not let me receive payments.

Are you talking about a PayPal limitation where they ask for IDs as well or the 200/20k tax limit?

I don't think he's talking about the 200/20k tax limit. Because he mentioned he's being asked for ID as well. Sounds like a paypal limitation nothing to do with the SSN tax limit

200/20000 I assume was the reason they asked me for SSN or Tax ID# I was definitely close to these limits or slightly above.

I was asked to confirm social and photo ID for an account I have and it's nowhere near this limit. Apparently there was unauthorized transactions and I have not used the acct for a while, yet I've been doin withdrawals for a month..

So how did you manage to fix with paypal.
What you show or said to them in order to get restored ?
My paypal account its not limited but it will in one month if i not provide that info

There's no magic thing to say to them to get it restored..
You have to get creative and come up with reasons why you don't have what they're asking for.. Sometimes you won't get it restored the first call but the second or third time you will.

Just a tip before you even bother calling make sure you have no open cases or even return reuqests on eBay or PayPal.

And tbh if you just sold 350$ on the account in a month in a half, I wouldn't even bother getting it restored, just move on to the next
