Is a good idea?

Im using my laptop with wifi (i take internet from neighbour) so that means other ip and mac from mine (been banned).
I have add new pc user acc, new eb acc,new pp acc, using ccleaner, clean flash, new everything

If i will use a new router (that means new ip and mac, right? ) to my adsl line, connected via ethernet cable this it will be risky or a good idea?
I want it to get a faster speed and not take the neighbour bandwidth.

In this case the wifi it will be off and not connected to anywhere, only via ethernet cable

It will be fine?

Here some answers:

Don't know if you are still using this method but this IS NOT a good idea.

new pc user acc
this is a good start...

eBay and PayPal can't see your MAC so do not worry about it.
As far as IP is concerned there are easyest ways of getting a new one.
If your IP is static you could find a workaround trying to change the MAC address of the router you already have.
Check if you have a dynamic ISP by switching the router off and on again and see if you get a new IP.

not take the neighbour bandwidth
...very wise decision...

ethernet connection is fine... I'm not sure what you are trying to do... just avoid connecting to someonelse WiFi and you are fine.

Thank you for your quick reply!!!

Why the neighbour wifi is not a good idea? (i know that he did not have any eb or pp activity etc)

Im using Dynamic ip.Is there any possibility to get one of my old ip when i was banned? (its been over 1 year since i have been banned)

All i want to have is an idea if i connect to MY adsl line (the one a get banned ) with a NEW router(never been used) from my laptop (the one a get banned BUT with new user acc) it will be fine so can i use my all speed for eb ONLY(upload photos, list items, communication with buyers etc.)
Right after all these i will connect my (banned) old router again...

With few worlds can i use (with all the above) my adsl line(the one a get banned ) without having any issue?

Re: Is a good idea?

neighbour WiFi is not a good idea because you never know what is going on with someone else WiFi... if they do not have eb or pp activity there might be someone else like you using their connection.
One of the very first things I have learned in here is that you need to have full control of your tools and acoounts.

If you have dynamic IP that is fine. Get yourself a new IP and you are good to go. Keep track of the used IP so you do not cross use them if you have other accounts.
If you are worried about your already used IP you could change ISP. Not a big issue if you are going to re-use one of those... it could happen to anyone and it is not a strong "link"

You can use your old banned ADSL line providing that you get a new IP. Do not worry about changing router and switch them... that is useless.

If you have the chance... get the stealth guide. It will save you a lot of troubles and questions (all the answers above are there already :thumb:)

You can use you old router in anyway you prefer. It doesn't make any difference if ethernet or WiFi.

The 2 important things are:

Use your own connection, no neighbour or public WiFi like libraries or Strabucks

Get a new IP and keep records of IP used for each account

Re: Is a good idea?

Sidenote: new router does not mean new IP unless you are working with dynamic IP line AND your router is your modem so that when you turn it off and back on, a new IP is assigned usually.
