Using a little known checkout system
 

Hello,

My suspended account was using a little known checkout system which used ebays checkout redirect once the buyer clicked on pay now -they were directed to my web site to make the payment. so they went ebay > checkout link > my web site

Am I safe to still use this system? i guess it's like cart manager in a way... it's just an intermediary link as i see it, and the checkout provider said there's no link.

anyone any ideas on this one?

I could always use cart manager or some such, but i can't really see the difference between what i have already and what they are offering.

You should probably be fine, but what checkout system does this?

So, with this checkout, buyers click on the Pay Now button in Ebay checkout and are redirected to elsewhere?

It's more of a link system which links ebay to my web site, and puts the ebay item in their basket so they can check out through the web site and choose paypal, googlecheckout or credit/debit card etc

LMAO..Why even post if your not going to tell anybody what the name of the sytem is?

ok ok.. I wanted to keep it away from prying eyes just in case, but I've decided I can't really use it again anyway, just in case.. it's auctionblox.com

I figured if I was just going to tell people who PM me then I may as well post here , as how would I know who out of those people sending PM's were working for ebay? I'm just paranoid!

Pro's : You can have one unified stock quantity between your web site and ebay. You can also have complete control of the checkout proceedure for upsell's etc. I like it as it means all my orders are in one place, so I can have scripts to check order details and bulk print my invoices, picking lists and postage labels.

Con's : There aren't any really. As with anything there's a learning curve, but it's a good piece of software.
