Checkmate. | 06-19-2016 11:43 AM | Dongles & Data Usage Looking around the forum i see a lot of people use dongles, so my question/s is that what data usage or allowance do people use.
What is enough for a month worth of use as providers of data such as 2gb, 5gb, 15gb, 20gb etc. I haven't yet seen unlimited. Also is it worth getting a mobile sim and putting it in an unlocked dongle (i've seems some okays deals in shopping centres 20-30gb data unlimited text and minutes for £14-22 a month)
You may say that it breaks t&c's but how do they find out.
3 (Three) seems to be the most popular on here by the looks of it this is due to is large ip pool, what others do you use.
PS: Talking about UK networking. |
Re: Dongles & Data Usage Simply put - very little. All your doing is browsing :)
I tend to use 0.1GB/day. Yours may vary. But that's a rough figure to go by on. |
Bunneh | 06-19-2016 12:39 PM | Re: Dongles & Data Usage lol i use around 9 - 12GB a month on my 3 mobile dongle.
More if i use multiple dongles. |

For an account seller that seems reasonable. [emoji4] |
just_smile | 06-19-2016 01:16 PM | Re: Dongles & Data Usage If you just use it for ebay then you wont use that much data. Even if you are on it 9-5 5 days a week.
Just go for the one you think will be ok. If you need more you can always call up and increase the gb. |

Have you just got/use one stealth account per dongle.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk | That is not something I would recommend, as you should keep track of IPs. In the event an account gets suspended, you dont want to kiss goodbye to a dongle (and network provider). |

So you advise not to use 1 dongle with 1 stealth account
Meaning using 1 dongle with more than 1 stealth account.
If i just stated with 1 stealth account surely the 1 dongle should be fine? |

Why? Whats your Plan B when this account gets suspended because a competitor decided to trash you? because you cant use this dongle again on a new account incase it gets linked due to duplicate ips...
You could probably move on to another network provider. However in the UK you only have so many (bear in mind a lot of them are MVNOs).
Its not a smart move to put simply. Always log your IPs in preparation for the worst case scenario. ;) |

The ip on the dongle is dynamic anyway which means it changes. (The 3 mobile dongle)
It wouldnt make a difference if you had 1 dongle or 10 of them.
I have multiple computers i work on which is why i use 1-3 dongles at times lol.. |

So yes you can use the dongle again on 300 accounts when they banned or not.
You would track ip when you have 1 dongle or more anyway? |
TOOKNAPA | 06-20-2016 04:25 AM | Re: Dongles & Data Usage 1 dongle for multiple accounts if fine + i don't know for UK, but in my country, it's much cheaper than a quality VPN solution |

What I meant was if you dont track ip, and you made a new stealth account, how could you be 100% sure your not getting a duplicate ip? |
Checkmate. | 06-30-2016 07:12 PM | Re: Dongles & Data Usage So do unlimited 4g dongles exist (uk) , If so which ones. |
Re: Dongles & Data Usage Three are the only network that does it. But they (or most networks for that matter) wont let you tether their service, as that uses a lot more data.
As always there are ways around it. |

You cant be sure you aren't getting diffrent if you dont kerp reack of i'ps, if you restart it enough times you WILL get repeating ip's |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk | That was a phone sim. It's on their website. As for data sims, your not going to get unlimited, it would be too costly to the network provider. But Three are quite generous, 20GB Data a month, so are BT/EE, that I feel is an ample amount for the average stealth user, i.e. if your ONLY going to use it to login and manage your stealth accounts, and not replace your home broadband. newjerseymax | 06-30-2016 10:27 PM | Re: Dongles & Data Usage use approx. 3gb a month....
You can use a lot less if you have home wifi and work your ebay accounts on 3rd party selling listing site, such as Auctiva, inkfrog, etc... |

RetroRedneck | 11-02-2016 11:46 AM | Re: Dongles & Data Usage Thanks Play. I'll just use a new sim each time, as like you mentioned, it's cheaper. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 12:04 PM. | |
